Customize your Denim with easy felt unicorn patches and more

It’s easy to customize your denim with sew on felt patches. This works particularly well on items that don’t need a lot of washing such as jackets and bags – but most felt will stand a few machine cycles too. You can you double-sided iron on patch paper which in theory means no sewing. However, we’ve found that the stitches add to the overall design, giving texture and detail while iron on patches have a tendency to peel. Here at Buttonbag HQ, we’ve created a special Patch It! kit with over 30 of our favourite felt patches including flamingos, swallows, clouds, hearts and unicorns. We’ve added loads of embroidery thread too so you can combine shapes and colours to create your designs. As they’re all hand-sewn, this is a great kit for beginners – whatever the age.
